111 online Check your mental health symptoms

If you're worried about a mental health symptom, answer some questions and we will tell you what to do next.

Depending on your symptoms, we might advise you to:

  • call 999 or go to A&E in an emergency
  • go to an urgent treatment centre
  • get urgent specialist mental health support
  • book a callback from a nurse
  • see an evening and weekend (out-of-hours) GP
  • look after yourself at home
Information:

Some NHS hospital doctors will be on strike from 17 to 22 December. Urgent care services are likely to have longer waiting times than normal. Help will always be available in an emergency.
